Mission Statement:
The Little Manila Foundation advocates for the historic preservation of the Little Manila historic site in Stockton, California and provides education and leadership to revitalize our Filipina/o American community.

About the director:
Independent filmmaker Dillon Delvo, the son of a Manong, wrote, produced, edited, and directed this film as his thesis project for a Master's degree in Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University. His filmmaking debut is a deeply moving journey into the heart of a young generation searching for their roots. Moreover, it offers us a heart-wrenching and eye-opening perspective on the meanings of family, history, community, memory and place in Filipino American contemporary life.

The unique theme of the Barrio Fiesta, is that it bridges the history of first generation Filipinos of the community and members of the Associated Filipino Organization, with the new young blood of the second, third and fourth generation Filipinos who still take pride and have an active interest in promoting they're Manongs and Manangs (family), Little Manila, Filipino Veterans like Manuel A. Roxas, and performing arts.
